Perfect for:

A V-Groove mat adds elegance to any presentation, creating a gallery-style work of art. It creates the illusion of double matting, which elevates the overall look and feel of any presentation, and helps to draw the viewer’s eye to the fine art in the center. Our V-Grooves, accent lines created with shallow bevel cuts, are cut into your top mat and by default are placed 1/2″ from the mat opening window. You have the option to change this in 1/4″ increments from 1/4″ to 1 1/4″. This option can be selected for mats that are 2″ wide, or greater.
Reverse Bevel Mats
A reverse bevel cut mat adds depth, interest and enhancement to presentations. It has a bevel that runs inside instead of out. In effect, it gives you a straight edge on the window. The primary reason to choose a reverse bevel cut is to hide the colored core (white, black or off-white) that is in the center of all mat boards. You may choose a reverse bevel cut for either the top or bottom mat – or both.
This treatment adds a shadow around the artwork, giving the presentation depth & interest for an exquisite high-end look. At least two mats are required for this presentation option. The bottom mat frames the image. Spacers are inserted before the second (top) mat, with a larger opening, is added. This gives a clean line around the piece, with a sense of depth from the raised mat. A third raised mat may be added if desired. Glass or Acrylic Glazing is then placed on top.
With our professional finishing, your presentation is guaranteed to receive the ultimate “white glove” treatment. Professional finishing includes one, or a combination, of the following: assembling your framed presentation, stretching and/or installing your canvas, installing hanging hardware & adding a protective dust cover. This ensures that your presentation is ready to hang the moment it arrives.
